Viktor Vladimirovich Bashkirov was born on February 14, 1971 in Moscow, Russian Federation.
In 1994, V.V. Bashkirov graduated from RF MFA Moscow State Institute of International Relations with a degree in International Economic Relations and qualified as an economist in international economic relations.
Work experience of V.V. Bashkirov in the banking system is 18 years, more than 10 years holding senior positions.
From November 1993 to September 1997, he worked as a dealer, a senior dealer of Currency and Finance Department of Citibank CB.
In August 1997, he was introduced to the Board of Citibank CB.
September 1997 - December 1998 - Deputy Head of Currency and Finance Department of Citibank CB.
January 1999 - January 2000 - Board Member - Head of Currency and Finance Department of Citibank CB Ukraine CJSC.
January 2000 - September 2002 – manager in St. Petersburg branch, Vice President of Citibank CB.
September 2002 - March 2004 - Head of Retail Banking Department of Citibank CB in Moscow.
March 2004 - September 2004 - President of Citibank Egypt Retail Bank.
September 2004 - April 2007 - Board Member - Head of Retail Business Unit of Alfa-Bank OJSC.
May 2007 - March 2009 - Head of representative office of Cranwell Investments Pte. Ltd. (Temasek Holding)
